About Department

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering was established in the year 2003. With an intake of 60 students the department teaches core areas of Electronics & Communication Engineering like Signal Processing, Wireless Communications and Networking, Energy Systems and Power Electronics, Nano-Electronics and Nano-Optics, Plasma Processing, Laser and Photonics, MEMS, CAD and Microsystems, Solar Systems, VHDL, VLSI, Robotics, Sensors, Microwave, and Image Processing etc.

The regularly upgraded laboratories of the department are well equipped for experimenting on the theories of Electronics & Communication. The students are given adequate exposure to trade specifications and the research interests of the faculty members encompass a wide gamut of sub-disciplines.  

Department Advisory Committee (DAC)

TIT has constituted Department Advisory Committee (DAC) for each branch of Engineering and Business Management Department. The (DAC) for Textile Technology includes eminent academicians and professionals from their respective fields having great experience to guide faculty and students to achieve excellence.
