Brief….

Dr A K Patra is an erudite academician and researcher with rich professional experience of over twenty three years. He has a clear understanding of textile wet processing, with hands on experience in well known textile industries and academia. Other than having large number of publications in various national and international journals of repute, he is a reviewer for SAGE Publications, UK and Elsevier Publications. Dr Patrahas presented research papers in number of conferences including IFATCC International Congress in Czech Republic and World Textile Conference in Egypt. He has also chaired technical sessions in international conferences and organized conferences with sizable presence of scientists from abroad. He has guided many B.Tech and M.Tech projects and contributed chapters to books published by Nova Science Publishers Inc. (New York, USA), Woodhead Publishing (UK) and Springer – Verlag (Germany). He has extensively traveled in India and has also visited Czech Republic, Germany, Egypt and UAE. His present research interest is in the area of enzyme applications in textile wet processing.
